There’s always one propagandist in the comments who tries to silence the greys by throwing out some sarcastic strawman comment and attributing it to everybody. It goes to show why the system is fundamentally flawed: being a grey is no guarantee that you’re not worth listening to, and being a black (I’m talking about

That’s a fair argument. However, I’d respond by pointing out that most Hindu depictions of Kali aren’t sexualized in any way, despite her attire (or lack thereof):

Isha, what is your position on the depiction of Kali in Smite? I’ve argued against it on several occasions and come up against a lot of resistance from people who feel very strongly that there should be no limits on their free speech with regards to religion. While I can sympathize with the logic behind this argument,

I’m pretty sure that OP is star-hunting, not voicing actual outrage.

Sounds great, but the lack of specificity with regards to what metrics Valve is basing this on is a little disconcerting. It means we have to completely rely on their internal QA to determine if the system is working as intended - there won’t be any external or user review. But, hey, at least we won’t be “stressed

This is what I liked. The fact that the world was mostly one giant shared space was key to the experience. It turned the game into a surreal voyage through the detritus of a thousand people’s imaginations.

Yup, didn’t see that one when it was posted, but it’s smart and funny.

If we’re being critical, I’m a little confused with the comma placement in the Link one. In all the others, the word “not” is coloured - but the coloured word comes after the comma in the Link section. In the other sections, it comes before.

Finding the extremists on both sides of an argument equally distasteful is not a refusal to commit. It’s a refusal to sacrifice your values in the name of fitting in with the crowd.

The fact that this message is becoming more socially acceptable is greatly concerning to me. Not because I fundamentally disagree - there are certainly some circumstances in which limited violence is required in order to oppose greater violence - but because the message is so rarely qualified. It’s not enough to say,

You’ve hurt Charlie Chaplin’s feelings, you monster.

Yeah, I feel slightly bad about that “overweight” line... but that’s the picture that Google vomited up. The art of Wand of Gamelon constrained me to a very narrow subset of Larry games.

Leisure Suit Link: Wand of Gettin’-it-on.

Holy shit, it’s Adam Scott.

Well, not the whole headline.

I find it weird that the team name doesn’t appear once in this article (they’re the Tar Heels, for what it’s worth).

Incidentally, this has also been the cause of literally every instance of friendly fire throughout military history.
