Isn’t it fun how lesbians are the “safe” choice for gay characters in media? It’s such an effective way to say, “Look how cool and tolerant we are, consume our product plz” without having to actually worry about losing any of your audience when two dudes kiss.

Seconded. Suvi felt like she had depth, whereas a lot of the other romanceable characters were archetypes.

The fact that the creator felt the need to precede the joke with an explanatory text-wall is a bit of a red-flag.

I mean, I feel like this is a problem with vidya game comics in general, but I guess Life in Aggro tends to focus on particularly fine details of games, which makes it less accessible than, say, Awkward…
