I am a nurse. I have cared for a few people who had hiatal.hernias who were also young. All but one was also obese. I am not sure that this all tracks.
Twitter is like any city - there are a lot of shitty people and just plain bad parts of town, but that doesn’t mean we should just burn the whole thing down either. Follow the right people and don’t get big enough for the trolls to attack you and you’re golden.
I agree. I love Studio Mucci stuff and find her color choices inspirational. One place I’m hating the greige look is baby nurseries. For fucks sakes, kids don’t need their parents boring interior design concepts foisted upon them.
I’m so tired of white grey and black or cream, taupe and brown design looks. I love this woman’s apartment though.
IDK, I grew up partially in L.A. and all the actor kids were and are total fucking weirdos.
Eh I think the first time I ever tried pie was in my late teens. My parents don’t bake and we never had dessert for Christmas unless you count the pink/sweet tamales.
I’ll bet my right arm they don’t vaccinate their kids.
Looks like they’ve changed it now lol
Oh, man, this makes me want Wendy’s so bad. It’s the only American fast food chain I miss living abroad. My husband loves to order a whole bunch of stuff off the dollar menu. He calls it “Wendy’s tapas.” Me? I’m about that spicy chicken sandwich life.
The Starbucks by my house knows what all the regulars drink. I’m not regular enough for them to remember me, but every time I’m there they’ve already started the drink of whoever’s behind me.
Here’s what worked for me. I had a job in PR and a supportive partner.
I wouldn’t normally do this but this isn’t a normal thread and we’re both sporting Venture Industries icons so I figured it’d be ok to follow in the footsteps of the illustrious and infamous Dr. Mrs. The Monarch...
How am I a “bad guesser” when one of my two guesses was that you were 40+ and needlessly bitter about other women’s choices? I nailed it.
Don’t dismiss things because they are or contain “chemicals” or “toxins”. It’s a scientifically illiterate response. I’m as critical of the beauty myth as anyone but Botox is relatively safe and helps a lot of people with legitimate medical and aesthetic concerns.
Since Madwoman in the Attic thinks critique is important, I’m reposting my reply to her comment that she dismissed here.
There’s always value to these kinds of discussions, even if it’s only to spur further discussion. Like we’re doing right now.
There’s a ton of variation in the flavor profile of one Rosé to another.
Even hotter take: wine sucks
