@SKiTz: Hmm, I think that's a bit misleading, considering "the building site is not yet disclosed." It is not under construction.

Thanks to the International Code Council, the reply to even the faintest suggestion of this concept is a resounding "no."

@moonshadowkati: Don't worry, they still follow the International Building and Fire Codes in Japan. The chances of this being built ANYwhere in public (the way it is pictured) is as close to architectural zero as you can get.

@ian.nai: The truth is fun to repeat.

@gizmodocon: +1,001. I have a See's Candies gift card that I would like to re-gift to you. I got all excited and inversed my factors. That's what I get for eating 20 McNuggets for lunch. Stay in scewl.

@Casper42: I re-watched it. Looking again in terms of the 250 ft/s I may have underestimated this Magic School Bus on steroids.

@Cairnage: I'm soooo tired of your comment :P With a typical runway length of about 13,000 ft for a large aircraft, 367 mph (~250 ft/s) would get you down the runway in 52 seconds. I suppose it could be possible to accelerate to and decelerate from 367 mph w/in 2.5 miles. Wish I knew that engines thrust - I would

@FauxReal: I swerved to miss a pickup, went sliding and rolling, eventually landing behind the bushes next to the side of an apartment building. I'll say I was going just a touch above 47 mph because that beats your speed.

Where was it going 367 mph? I've gone faster than that on my long board.

@Ninety-9: Actually, they dropped needles onto a surface with parallel lines, a distance apart equal to the length of the needle. They counted the number of times the needle crossed a line and didn't cross a line. (At least, this is supplementary to Fibonacci-based converging series.)

@adt1015: Yeh I would think LB (2nd St) would be alright but they are doing construction down there, right?

@Cyb3r_Punk: I'm cool with Santa Monica. That's doable.

@MJDeviant: I'll go the other way with that and offer a correction. Instead of at least has I would argue that has the least is more appropriate based on the cost of plan.

I don't trust a man that has to throw a keyboard with two hands. That is downright silly. I'll give the cord-slinger a break because he wanted it badly enough to risk turning a human arm into a trebuchet for the Win.

Anyone interested in Southbay area that doesn't want to go up to Los Angeles?

@♫ Destronok ♫: Holy mother. That lizard is the size of Vermont and is using Lake Superior as a bath tub.

@dtptampa: That's a great point. Previously, in RIM's future past, this is a sweet phone.

But... it has... a keyboard...
