Not surprisingly, what’s happening at Deadspin is just a microcosm of what’s happening in the United States right now. 

I was referring to the comments specifically, though it seems the website is not far behind.

The insecure, evil GH people didn’t like getting called out on their bullshit, so they decided to disable the comments. Multiple Deadspin staff writers have resigned today. In short, Deadspin is in a tailspin due to Great Hill’s great incompetence.

Lauren Theisen, Laura Wagner, Patrick Redford, and Kelsey McKinney have all quit.

So Deadspin’s fucked thanks to Jimmy’s inability to run a successful business. Deadspin has now had all its comments turned off and several staffers have very publicly quit after the firing yesterday.

I think you can probably see why the comments are off on Deadspin.

The only two internet commenting communities I visit regularly are the AV Club and Deadspin because they’re such a welcome break from everything else. Can’t believe one of them was just shut down.
