This kind of reality is probably what makes puberty such a nightmare for a lot of people. The hormones are obviously raging, but the cruelty that often accompanies it from outside oneself is also fucking horrible.

Yeah. It’s a similar case to when the other side of the political aisle talks about immigrants “taking” citizens’ jobs. A 1-for-1 relationship in the number of jobs available in the country doesn’t exist either, but the argument just takes off because it seems like it makes sense, but if you use more than half a brain…

He’ll stall, reject it, then throw a shit load of money at a bunch of lawyers to wear the legal system down. They’ll drop the charges eventually and he’ll proclaim his innocence.

We live in a world where Harden puts up 36 a game, but it’s actually pretty rare to string together too many consecutive 20 point games as well. Not as many of those streaks get to the 10-15  game mark as you think. It’d be hard for any player to get through the 20's in that scenario.

I think the point is that she didn’t seek fame and probably would prefer not to have it considering what she’s gone through. She doesn’t have a choice in the matter.
