I was deciding between the Toshiba CB2 and the Acer CB R11. Heard too many screen issues with the Toshiba + poor customer service.

It might not be a great fit for everyone, based on location, utility prices, etc.
Doesn’t mean they are “more sleazy than used car salesman”
