More like Don Corneo, amirite?

My worst also involves a baby. I was on a tram, going home, and it was pretty packed. I was standing next to a seated woman with a baby, probably a year or so old, who was screaming to high heaven. I tried to just sort of block it out, because... well, what can you do?
I have done this, too. I might lean in and ask her if she’s cool, and if she’s like, “ugh”, I’m all fake-hammered, yelling, “GIIIIIRL, you gotta show me where the bathroom is! Where?! I don’t see it!” and drag her away, since I don’t dance :)
Yep, I am similar. What I’ve found works well for me is what I call “emotional modeling”. I make the little flowchart-like drawings about what I feel, what I think caused it, and what I expect to happen. It’s similar to the “mindfulness” thing, but it gives me a framework to fill in.
A friend’s family had a daughter who was about 12 or so, and was acting goofy and silly in public (“hyper”, as we called it when I was her age). Someone commented to my mother that they thought perhaps this girl was “special” or something, because she was so immature.
Personally, I am not really into facial hair. Obviously, men don’t have to do anything to suit my tastes, but I definitely tend to prefer people without beards to people with, and like... a really bushy beard might actually be a turnoff for me.
I’m going to pretend that there really were prayer rugs out there. Here’s some reasons that someone might be carrying one, besides “terrorists from Arabia”, which... doesn’t even make any sense, but seems to be what he is implying.
Dude, me too. I am sensitive to heat and it makes me feel ill and dizzy often. Winter is my favorite season because things stop hurting for me, and I feel physically better!
If she didn’t want to die a violent death, then why wasn’t she born with guns for hands?
It might have been from last year, but Lindsay Ellis made a video about how monsters and romance are not always so far apart:
It’s a long one, of course, as many of her video essays are, but I think it is a nice addition to the conversation in general, if anyone enjoys a more... “academic”-style approach to boning…
I have two Instagrams: one for my goofy dog (https://www.instagram.com/laivikoer/) and one for the shelter I volunteer with (https://www.instagram.com/tartuvarjupaik/). Said doggy came from that shelter! I never plan to monetize either (IG for my dog is just for fun! IG for the shelter is to show cutie animals that…
I don’t know about Doug, but my mom’s pug actually likes wearing clothes. If you get out one of her sweaters or coats (our winters are quite cold, and lil’ puggo is getting pretty ancient), she spins in delight and wobbles her way into them.
Häid jõule, sõber!
I moved to Estonia a few years ago, and I am a cheap person, so my “Christmas decorating” consisted of one strand of lights and one strand of tinsel. A friend took pity on me, and gave me her family’s old Soviet (mini) tree, along with ornaments. I think most of them are from the 1960s and 1970s, but I have glass…
I, for one, am very deeply invested in men’s boners and how women they’ve never met can make their boners less sad. I mean, how busy can Grande be, not to be super concerned that this one dude doesn’t think she’s hot enough?!?!?!
It’s really not even the same genre, but the new She-Ra on Netflix really has a lot of body diversity! I was surprised at how different the characters looked from one another, and didn’t expect to enjoy it at all. Admittedly, it’s more for kids, but I appreciated that the characters all have different bodies (and no…
I started my quest for sterilization at 18, and got it at 23. I’ll be 32 in a few days. It was an excellent decision then, and I stand by it now. Still don’t want any kids (and still don’t have any interest in a husband/wife, either).
I can’t imagine having Donald Trump as a father. So, I vaguely felt a little bad for his adult children, because he seems like a terrible father. I was willing to give Don Jr. a bit of the benefit of the doubt, thinking, “eh, his posts seem pretty harmless... mostly self-aggrandizing, which many of us on IG are guilty…
The training episode always delighted me. I worked in fast food, so of course, it was all so familiar.
No, I think you’re right, but sometimes... it just makes you tired. Like, if you’ve been trying to explain it to someone (like, say, an intimate partner who later becomes your children’s father), and suddenly he cares. It’s like, “wasn’t I enough to learn about and care about?”.
