I have heard that as well but I gotta wonder if some of that is just loosening people up for the cult sell

Okay, what’s the first published article that posited Glen Powell as the “next movie star”, because like 4 different publications are pushing this line. I’m generally just curious—is it Tom Cruise’s people? Do they share marketers?

one of the most ‘starring ewan macgregor’ ideas i’ve ever heard.

Yeah, good on them for trying, but The Black Keys oughtta be a $50 ticket (maximum) at the House of Blues or somesuch.

Have the Black Keys even heard themselves? They’d be much better to see live in a bar/club.

The budget issues may have been real, but he’s the only one who comes across negatively in the interviews. It’s not just the complaining, his tone is scolding and sanctimonious. Weird, because he plays Hooper as an easy-going, very likeable guy in the movie. Switch to real life, though, the mask comes off and you see

It’s been pretty well known that this guy is just an asshole. Hence his career being reduced to ultra low budget straight to redbox movies.

No wonder Robert Shaw hated him. He knew what was up back in 1974!

He was ranting about everything when he was young too.

I mean, dude BEEN a prick for decades now.

Although elderly women in acting are still rather rare compared to men. A lot of women performers disappear in their 40s because the public is thought to not want to see older women in things. While men can be cast even as romantic leads long past normal retirement age.

This movie sounds amazingly strange.

Now playing

The last time the “song of the summer” aligned with my tastes was 2013 when “Get Lucky” was the getting played at every pool I was at
