Loved the game when it came out. I didn’t buy into any of the hype people were piling on it, watched plenty of news about it, saw the interviews and all that. When it was revealed it wasn’t actually multiplayer I had no problem with that. I didn’t see it as some kind of MASTER DECEPTION(!) like so many people did.

Sean

Most studios would just dump the game, and build a new one. Even games successful at launch rarely get the level of updates like this one did.

People overhyped the shit out of the game when they were four fucking people working on it. I don’t understand how people could be so surprised by the result. Stop overhyping shit. Every-fucking-game get overhyped and some people will get very vocal about the thing they imagine because it’s not what they wanted.

Anyway,

A “liar, thief and fraud” wouldn’t be spending time to deliver on those promises, when they could be busy chasing that almighty dollar in a different game.

A sincere “Please give me my job back.

Yet no one defended me when I stood for masculinity and God’s design for sexuality

Yeah, when Bethy announced Blades was going to be “free” to play I knew they would do this, and I knew the game would have to be dead to me, which is shite, because I really want to play this game. It looks fantastic.

I’m not sure exactly how naive you are, but the idea to transform paying for a reward, into paying for the access to the reward is already a decade old and present in virtually all f2p, p2w mmo’s.... ofcourse you’re not gonna pay for the chests, because there will be a massive abundance of chests (I already have more

The chest system is horrible. I have 18 silver chests each with 3 hour timers. I’m not logging every 3 hours for two days to open all of them. It’s going to take me weeks to clear them out...

6 hours for a gold. But, yeah, this is just too much. Which is killing me because I otherwise am really enjoying the game.

If there were just multiple ‘slots’ for unlocking chests, and ideally the ability to sell them outright rather than just piling up until your capacity is full, I think I’d be enjoying the game a

The timer will be what makes or breaks me playing this game at all, as you had mentioned in the article.

Yup, limited slots you can expand with good ol gems in this game too.

And if it doesn’t work, just think of the replay value they’ll get!

She’s 82. My grandfather and great-grandmother made it to 92. Lot’s of people make it to their late 80s and the game will likely be out either next year or 2021. She looks pretty healthy. I bet she gets to see it.

She seems healthy, and could easily live another 20 years.

This is pretty cute. More elderly people should get into gaming if they want to slow down the dementia/Alzheimer’s progress, well - somewhat.

I mean, photogrammatry was right there, but I respect the hustle

or i could just not use spotify and use youtube music like a sane human being. who needs a million accounts and apps?!

Why would anyone PAY to watch COMMERCIALS.  That is the point of PAYING, so you DON’T watch the COMMERCIALS.

So true story, in 2013, I went to Gary Con and had been talking to Ernie Gygax about doing a documentary film about the development of D&D and his fathers legacy. Being a huge gaming nerd myself I was thrilled that he initially liked the idea and said we could talk about it. We spoke online about it for some time and
