It’s the ‘endowed with super-human intelligence’ part that is handwaving.. we don’t have anything that’s endowed with **honeybee intelligence**. Let’s see that first before lots of hypotheticals about smarter-than-us. My worry is: a self-aware AI that isn’t very smart!
WE have not even settled on the value of human life and how to weight variables on that - which we would need to do to teach AI to do that same thing, so it can make decisions. I’d like to see how the actuaries are doing with this...
