I actually think it was always bad, that they didn’t include more. There were other figures who came with incredible stuff and than you had Star Wars figures and just got a lightsaber or a gun.

Exactly. The sculpts are most often terrific but the paint jobs are incredibly flat. I saw some custom Black Series figures and boy they looked like Hot Toys! Of course it’s difficult to get to that level of detail but most companies don’t even try and try to squeeze as much money as they can. It’s understandable but…

What? The anime is pretty mediocre, bad cgi and not just that but it’s bad CGI all over the place! On top they are fast forwarding the story. It clearly doesn’t outshine the original. As far as I can see, would this be released 10 years ago, everyone would say how bad this is.
