You are not.  I have 5 different launchers right now for games.  Steam, Gog (though the new GOG client unifies the others which is cool), Origin, Uplay and Twitch.  That’s enough for me.

You weren’t, then I relented and downloaded EGS for their wide collection of weekly free releases and (mainly) this.

i live under a rock and no longer have a PC.

Yeah, I’m tired of Yet More Accounts, too. (Also, not excited to give them my CC info, and they don’t seem to have gamecards in stores, far as I’ve been able to tell.)

You're not alone. I refuse to support Epic for many reasons. Not just multiple launchers, but also the distribution of wealth supporting China and their human rights violations.

What exclusivity? Oh -- I had to look it up. Epic store. Review should have mentioned that.

It’s nice that Kirk is playing what’s probably the 2019 Game of the Year. Can we maybe expect Kotaku to cover it though, at some point before 2020? You’ll probably want people to know about the 2019 Game of the Year.

You take that back. Gran Turismo 2 looked way better than that.

The real scandal here are those garbage PS1 Gran Turismo 2-ass graphics.

Fair. One of the worst FPS I’ve ever played.

Now that you mention college tuition and their desire for young people to study, wouldn’t it make sense for the junior competitors to receive their prize money in the form of scholarship money?

And yet, despite all these nonsensical suspensions, here’s Amouranth dancing on stream right now:

no, but only because I don’t want to. and because it isn’t worth trying to justify what i mean to someone that probably just wants to argue anyhow

People say they want innovation but when that actually happens they just go “eh gears of war will do.” personally as a lifelong MGS fan and general cynic of big budget fare, I’m stoked. Plenty of multiplayer battle royales out there for others already.

People complain all the time that games aren’t “innovative” enough and here Kojima is doing just that. I’m intrigued!

Even the fire extinguisher complaint is pretty flimsy. It’s not like parking your car in front of a hydrant where it can’t be easily moved and obstructs firefighters. He literally had a suitcase and a laptop in front of it. That could be moved in less time that it would have taken to break the glass to access the fire

Weird that he chose that spot, there a few places in narita with desks and power outlets you can use freely. But I guess the salarymen who use those spaces would be just as pissed.

The way to gain access to the game is to have Randy do a magic trick for you.

I just can’t wrap my head around the concept of ‘a rare M16 that give you more bonuses’ in a real world setting. An M16 is an M16, it’s not like you can etch runes in it to imbue some magical powers. “Well maybe some crazy gun hobbyist somewhere is randomly modifying any weapon they find in the wild.” Well then I
