Get involved on the local level, run for city council or school board, or get involved in the campaign of someone who you respect on the local level. If you feel voting is unproductive, there are other ways to be involved and make a difference in politics.

It was a great shortcut for many years, but in this day and age when we know the precise popular vote as soon as we know the electoral vote and can communicate both across the entire world in seconds, the electoral college system just doesn’t make sense over the popular vote.
