And he wasn’t even arguing. He was apologizing. He was going to have to walk home to get it, and - dammit - he had a small child with him…

Follow up follow up follow up follow up story: Ben becomes homeless and starts selling breakfast foods at a stoplight. Is rediscovered and helped out by kind strangers and a GoFundME account. Opens his own place and is henceforth known as The Man with the Golden Waffle. 

Wow, a story about people actually being decent and generous, helping a stranger. Either this is a complete hoax or I haven’t woken up yet and it’s a dream.
