The thing I really hate about the US is it built itself up to be a car culture when in a lot of places it doesn’t make sense. I always talk about how alternative mass transit will solve a lot of our traffic problems, but one of them lives out basically in the boonies and complains that focusing on mass transit isn’t

Bad stuff happens, but tis true that US infrastructure of all types is pretty janky.

America has no sense of shame and has elected someone who is the very epitome of that.

If this is Skoda’s first SUV, what are we calling the Yeti? Are we now all agreed that it was just some kind of weird van thing with a small lift?

So you’re arguing that we shouldn’t be using the full capacity of the roadway and to encourage single-lane backups miles before a work zone, then?
I’m working by a long-term construction site with a years-long lane closure and every morning I see a queue backing up through multiple intersections in the one through lane

Disappointed? Because they didn’t ruin his life over a victimless crime. Reminds me of every time I’m disappointed over the slap on the wrist almost every Police Officer gets when he commits a crime that otherwise would result in you or I spending serious time in a cage.

I don’t think there was ever any real danger of that happening...

you’ve let me, nay America down with this statement. Buy some snow tires and actually DD it. Give the people what they want.

“Coming down too fast” doesn’t seem like an excuse. We Finns can handle 30+ inches of snow for days on end without closing down a single road or airport for even a minute.

Now playing

Technically not a new car but it was its race debut. The Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt that Tom Kristensen drove at Goodwood. Full race here.

If you don’t like the noise, DON’T BUY A HOUSE NEXT TO A FUCKING RACE TRACK, YOU DROOLING SIMPLETONS.

That’s not a pussy wagon, this is

A V8 Supercar is absolutely not a “drag racer”. In fact, hardcore acceleration from a standing start is not at all what it is designed to do.

Lets see here...

Fart.

It’s a wagon with added style but, most importantly, two fewer doors.

Ironically it isn’t even a Nazi tank, that particular one was built by the British Army Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) in the MNH factory after the war and used for Trial and Evaluation by the British Army.

Too bad no one is buying these fantastic shared-platform vehicles, because they're inferior to every single one of their competitors.
