I mean why not, I’ve been on twitter for years - this is nothin lmao

Any time you comment, your name alone increases smuttiness levels by 2-3 %.

ah, well. You see...when two people like each other very much...

What’s your favorite AWD.......

It doesn’t make sense I think because you are hung up on the term 50/50. Its physically connected meaning there is no “split” as there is no device. The 50/50 commonly used is simply referring to the fact that there is no speed bias, or differential action. i.e. that the SPEEDS that the front and rear axles have to go

why the hell do you think I write these? I gotta get that stuff out of there so I can put more in!

Nope. 50/50 is the nominal torque split (which really wasn’t 50/50 since the weight distribution of a truck is not close to 50/50 and torque follows traction) but not the ability to bias torque. A locked (part-time) system can bias torque to either axle completely. The front (open diff) has NO torque biasing ability.

No offense taken! This was 100% an op-ed by me to try and really uncover what makes us want trucks, and that is a very correct analysis of it. Basically I wanted to present the facts, offer a possible reason, and leave it at that. Thank you for reading!

Thank you very much!

You get it. I couldn’t have put this better myself. Thank you for reading and commenting, and I hope we can avert the disaster we’re all headed towards.

It’s super frustrating. The whole premise of this article is that we’re full of contradictions. We can be critical of things we like, or even be free to like shit that we know is bad. We all do it. But there’s always somebody who has to draw a line in the sand, justifying the “bad” thing that they like as “good

Where did anyone say anything about banning them? That’s a pretty knee-jerk reaction.

A person with an opinion and plenty of anecdotal evidence from having grown up in Alberta.  What else does a person need in order to comment?  It’s not like I’m able to ban truck ownership.

Broken fingers? MAN UP!!1!1!11!!

I rented one for 24 hours. The button wall is not ideal, but still superior to any touch screen that takes my eyes off the road...By the end of the day, I was pretty used to it.

Not to mention the same group of buyers knows the reality of Corvette ownership. Corvette is, and always has been, a value proposition where one area was the last item on the design team punch list as the development budget was being exhausted. Sometimes, its the engine, chassis or more commonly the interior.

Tadge (chief engineer) has explained why they had to put in a strip of buttons before. The sight line for the C8 is much lower as the engine moved out back, so in order to make the dash super low so you can see over the hood, they had to put in the strip of buttons on the side, as they couldn’t stack the buttons below
