I’ve been looking at sim rig setups for a while now - we moved and I have more play space. But there’s so much out there. I have a setup pending delivery, but after spending so much money, I don’t even know if I’m going to be comfortable in it. I guess time will tell.

I was expecting the pricing on this to be closer to 5k but I can see someone paying 6.

I never drove one of those but that sounds super plausible TBH

Yeah, totally! I would have loved that little 2.0 Turbo drivetrain, it’s really good. My Crosstour did come with the V6 which is 271 hp so that’s not too bad, but it would have been more fun to have that power in the HHR instead.

Oh, I drove one as a loaner when I used to have an Acura bring into service. It was nice, but didn’t feel as nice as the price seemed to warrant, and I think the complicated cabins confused their market base. Most new Acura SUV drivers are not car people and don’t have the patience for their modern complex

The internal door handle assembly was made by an accountant who probably doesn’t read expiration dates in the fridge before eating something and thinks he has IBS.

I have a friend who has a 2017 NC1 and last year he decided to get Science of Speed to push the V6 to 600 whp. 500 is never enough for people like that (I am one of them, takes one to know one)

I’ve been staring at these since 2017. It’s an ok price, but prices can go lower and have on occasion. I’ve seen some of them with similar mileage go previously for 105-110. I bet they’ll go to 100 ish before going back up due to rarity. But NAs have already started to be valued for similar prices as the NCs, so we

Still mad that wagons are unpopular in the US. Sorry, but some lifted up crossover hatch is not going to cut it!

It’s nice to see you here, man. Congrats.

This is cool, you deserve this. Congrats.

All this post really does is make me want to live in Germany. Better get back to those language lessons....

I didn’t use antagonistic words or really try to.engage you in debate. I just was curious how you felt about something. Sorry you found it so offensive, I really do not get where you are coming from but it’s clear I’m getting nowhere.

Thanks.

10.5 second quarter mile, even with launch control, is pretty impressive. Is this thing AWD too? For some reason, I can’t find that info here or on Porsche’s website.

Um, no. It was a legitimate question. I already told you I agreed with you. But it doesn’t seem fair to you to have to pay that. Which is why I asked you if you were ok with it. It seems that other people have given you lots of grief for your opinions, but I just thought - well that doesn’t seem fair to you, and I

I assumed your coverage would handle the repair. That’s not what I’m asking. If you have multiple vandal incidents eventually your premium would go up, but you’re not the cause of any of the damage. I was asking how you feel about your personal policy costing more due to the actions of another.

Question. For the record, I’m siding with you on how to handle aggressors. Car insurance claims wind up being paid out of your own pocket unless people can track down the people (and their insurance) who actually are at fault for the claim. I don’t know if violence is a consistent factor in your local experience, but

I was hesitant to start such a long article while I’m still at work but once I started I couldn’t put it down. Fantastic read, I could talk to Murray all day. We’d likely have almost nothing in common, but it makes me wish all my cars were lighter and stiffer.

What I think it is:

What it really is
