My friend wants one of these but has been warned that the ride is very firm. IS the ride firm? I would expect for the V6 models to be softer, or at the very least adjustable TO a soft setting.

One thing I don’t miss about OBD1 is the wire method and then the song and dance to summon the Engine code gods to figure out what’s wrong.

Slow car fast is so fun and accessible. 

My feet are too narrow to do the right side tappy thing. The amount of angle I need to pull it off requires at least a partial heel shift, lest I brake harder than intended. 

So it’s been a few years and correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t there an auto battle option? Admittedly, I recall the AI being pretty crummy fighting bad guys at times, but at least if I’ve overleveled I can walk away and get a coffee. 

I see a lot of commenters on here buying slow cars on purpose, for one reason or another. Even car enthusiasts have reasons to not buy the fastest thing.

I’ve had the good fortune to test drive the LC500 for a little while. The ride is a bit harsh for a GT car but the engine makes good sounds and the transmission is good for a slush. The interior is nice, but not exactly bespoke.

Like clockwork, for most of the 2000's, I got a speeding ticket a year, like an anniversary. That finally stopped after I got married, but had more to do with not living near speeding cameras, and not racing around after dark.

I can anecdotally back this up. I bought my C7 at a pretty darn good price, because it was a M7 used and couldn’t find a buyer in my neck of the woods.
