Fair point, although all you do when hungry is change your criteria for 'good' to be able to eat the sandwich.

A sandwich you are willing to eat, if I were to quibble, I would define as inherently good. Why would you eat a bad sandwich?

At least it wasn’t Broccoli.

I honestly don’t think that the transporter would go out of its way to try to replace fluids inside of you unless there was a medical reason to do so. Obviously replacing mass with vacuum is inherently a risky proposition for rematerialization. I think a computer as strong as the ones on Federation Starships would be

There are several failsafes that I know of - the Heisenberg compensators, the containment beam system, the bio-filters, the transport buffers, and then there are always the pattern enhancers for weak signals, not to mention the massive nearly AI computer handling all the fine tunery necessary for it to be controlled

I’m allergic to pot, but I can still see that happening.

This is why I read the Torch pages. Although, now that I know Erin is a Trek fan I want her to also write a rebuttal.

Transporters also have bio-filters which can remove things like diseases and other toxic elements from a person during transport. It wouldn’t be infeasible to also have them deal with things like peepee and poopoo or have the system replace it with more acceptable materiel as long as the mass/energy exchange questions

There’s a containment beam and part of the process is to ensure that particles are displaced when they need to be.

Ohhhhhhh.... yeaaaaahhhh..... I remember now. I was really waiting for this, too, bought the blu-rays as soon as they were released. Well, whatever, I can wait a little longer, plenty of other shows to catch up on in the meantime. Horse girl animes don’t watch themselves.

I haven’t said anything about whether or not Toriyama’s involvement makes something canon. Why don’t you take it up with the people who mentioned it?

I liked Broly as a concept in the old movies, but the problem was that there was too much imbalance which caused the fights to be pretty predictable. Either Broly was so OP nothing would work, or which they’d resolve it by coming up with some move they’d never used before to overpower him. Bio Broly was just...

She looks cold.

Wouldn’t mind a lego kit for this.

I’m pretty preferential to the idea of mecha shojo, as long as we stay away from the cockpit shenanigans from Zone of the Enders.

They sell the props for Doc’s shades on ebay, but you can’t see through em. Shame.

I always thought that Shining Force 3 was better than FF Tactics. The graphics in FFT could be argued were prettier, but the prevalent random encounters, the much smaller maps, the combat team limits, and the slow plodding movement of each character’s turn pretty much outweigh its pros.

Of course, that is the way you and I see it. I’m fairly certain the specific type of beancounter in mind has other priorities for what he interprets as ‘other value.’

I am fairly certain that some beancounter in every company considers a product that does not have a high profit margin a “misdirection of company resources.”

Totally a snowball, but on a long enough timeline, the roads become irrelevant.
