Most of Engineering Explained’s uploads are now in 4k which I like when he focuses on showing mechanical parts. I asked him to go 60fps, but he doesn’t yet think the extra size is worth the visual quality.

I got my wife playing Skyrim for the first time ever, and I finished playing the game before the Dragonborn DLC came out, so we’re stepping through the Xbone version of the Special Edition together, and trading notes, and finding bugs.

I’ve been through several iterations of online monikers, faced the trials of having to type out ridiculously stupid email account names and login names for 2 decades now, only finally settling on a few that seem to always be available and aren’t hard to recognize.

Free market economics isn’t free of problems.

All that time saved from driving through the city in a automatobile can be focused on self education courses :)

Scarcity establishes value but so do lies and bullshit. A dealer or group of dealer can have inflated perceptions about its value, leading them to determine a price that can sabotage their own sales and profits or remove long term incentive to produce high performance trims on Honda’s end when they don’t sell. Some

I never said it wasn’t. Clearly the dealerships are making money - until the price vs the supply of the product doesn’t scale properly any longer, and wishful thinking of profit on the dealer’s part takes over where practical demand ends. Even on rare trims I suspect that the dealers believe the demand is a bit less

I may have used the term loosely, but if you examine my comment carefully, the moral of the story is that there’s always someone out there ruining it for the rest of us. I personally have no problems buying the cars I do. Markups, however, are ass, and they contribute to less unique trims getting sales traction in the

The problem is that someone always does pay the markup. As far as solutions go, it’s the most ideal and the least plausible. Someone always suggests that we don’t buy them, and many don’t, but there’s always those 3 people that do that basically force this nightmare to perpetuate.

What are the technical differences in the new STi transmissions vs the older 6 speeds?

Well, these arm curls I’ve been doing with meatball sub sandwiches aren’t helping any.

Honestly, I see that muscle definition and I just want to work out. I’d love for my abs to look like that.

I would presume that the lighter back end in a fast road truck would make weight transfer more interesting during turns. I’d like to think of these things as heavyset cousins to the Holden Maloos.

I totally agree, but in space, pencil contact to writing surfaces leaves bits of graphite floating around in the zero-g environment, so there are reasons to prefer one configuration over the other at times.

Curious. How big is the Beer Festival, and what’s the rate of kickouts? How much staff can you afford to lose before you start feeling the pinch?

Any updates about the identity or hunt for the thief? Seems like a lot of money got sunk into getting this car back, when the buyer and the victim haven’t done anything wrong.

In a shocking twist, I am completely unfamiliar with Linkin Park’s discography. I do remember that one popular song from early on where there were those CG whales in the music video.

Good on you, Vin! Someday, I’ll win another one. All I have to do is be clever, witty, and insightful, like you, and less like me.

That’s really interesting! Recaros are nice for hugging you during the bends but I don’t fit well in them, and I’m not huge by any means. It’s interesting that they go for so much more.

I’ve always liked it, gen 1 and 2, but until now I couldn’t find anyone who would publicly agree with me. But since I can’t afford the Turbo S it’s sort of just... out there.
