Oh man, I’m sorry. I know all public schools are receiving water, but IAF is a charter. They should still be providing water for the kids. Maybe write to the administration and tell them they need to reach out and ask for donations. That makes me so mad, kids should have easy access for water at school.

This is directly impacting me and my family, and I am hot pissed about it. I’m glad this is finally making national (and even world) news. It’s not going to do anything to un-poison the kids, but at least Flint residents are getting help now.

Celebrities “do that” (donate bottled water in this instance) as a marketing promotion for the companies they’re involved with (under contract; paid by). Under the guise of false humility for making the donation the goal is that you’ll purchase the product in the future. In the (likely) event of human misery somewhere…
