Yes, that. It’s not touchy for me at all. I’m just an ornery son of a bitch who hates people with a POS attitude.

That doesn’t mean Nintendo’s policy isn’t a bit more abrasive about it though. And that’s where the worse reputation comes in over some others.

That's part of it, but if it were solely that you'd see more of the same thing from Sony as well. It's at least partly due to Nintendo's own isolated, quirky culture, which led them to create some truly innovative and memorable experiences at one point, but which their audience has largely outgrown over the years,

As soon as that happens though, it’ll kill the “market”. It won’t be worth investing the time and effort for people to commit to doing it, so the companies won’t really be seeing much coin by doing so.

Always weird when someone uses a physical object like a car to make an example with media. The two are governed by completely different laws, and are entirely different in how a person consumes then. The boxing and benchmarking thing is very odd as well as it’s just unpacking a product or doing testing on it.

Nobody pretends we’re entitled to anything. What is clear is how it’s bad rep for Nintendo and makes them look incredibly out of touch.

I don’t think it’s malicious, I just think Nintendo has an outdated outlook o n the game industry. They’ve always been protective and close-to-the vest about their projects and IPs in a very Disney-like way, and they’ve always been, at heart, an innovative toy company. Unfortunately their innovations haven’t hit the

Final Fantasy 15 might be alright. Too early to say, though the demo I played bored me to tears.

IMO also makes the game replayable. I live for that swordfighting minigame and the mini-game music that goes with it.

They took risks rather than go constantly for fail-proof, optimal choices. It’s like a love story: who’s gonna take the first few horrifying steps to reach the other’s heart? I feel like this is what happens when developers take artistic, passionate risks.

Most games today are like acquaintances; it’s fun to hang out

This is why the Golden Saucer blew my middle school mind.

Taken shots at a game that isn’t out yet, amazing.

You’re over-analyzing it.

Haters going to hate.

Nah, i’ll wait, i like walking into new areas in the game.

Hah! Also good. ED3 is my favorite of the series.

My oh my there is a lot to unpack here. I seem to have struck a chord which does perplex me. I can only assume you have a who cares attitude to stealing is to be contrarian for the sake of just being contrarian. I certainly can’t see you defending stealing in the real world. Am I QQing over the loss of money Bethesda

It wasn’t a mistake, it just could have been implemented better. I would rather fewer of the crap games on Greenlight existed, but I’d rather have Greenlight as it is than no Greenlight at all.
