That’s one interpretation, and one I don’t wholly agree with. If you were to look at the “sins” they all line up with the 10 commandments, and then Jesus came in to proclaim there is but one Commandment “Love one another” or something like that, been a long long time since I read all of the bible.

If we’re going to compare per capita murders, then Mexico who has stricter gun ownership laws has almost double the USA’s, and if we’re going to just flag that off to the drug war then we have to take off at least half the US murders too since they’re tied to the drug war as well.
