The Gestapo operated under the Nacht und Nebel directive after 1941, which allowed them to dispose of political activists and resistance members without evidence (over half of Gestapo investigations were apparently begun by citizen denunciations, or ‘people talking shit’) or so much as reporting it to the family

I can’t speak for New York, but in the South families are part of a church en toto. Additionally, most churches have buildings aside from the actual nave and worship area, usually some kind of kitchen and community area. I’d be willing to guess he gatecrashed a couple of potluck dinners.

But like I said, that’s in the

Apparently they’re developing some FPS VR shooter for the Oculus Rift now. Money’s out on whether that’s going to pay dividends.

As opposed to full clips into dudes wearing space suits?

Because all that arcane shit pertains to things they actually own at the moment.

I vastly prefer FO3 just because the dialogue choices feel more organic, and having different perks and skill levels actually changes what you’re able to say. This four-button dialogue thing that Dragon Age 2 started is a horrible experience and I loathe it. Not being able to see exactly what I’m going to say is

Hanlon’s Razor: Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

I don’t think it’s so much some master plan as a bunch of fools that have the ill fortune to confuse their power for their intelligence.

This is the life cycle of any game that includes CC mechanics in a PvP game. They are very difficult to balance without including some sort of effect that gives immunity, somehow, because entire teams base strategies around it. After all, the easiest way to beat someone is to make sure they don’t play.

Everything except that last bit is fine. The Ken Starr investigation was completely nuts.

What you want is a giant robot game that lets you customize and swap parts like Ace Combat lets you customize your plane.

Front Mission is that game.

Armored Core is a tutorial in pain.

Yeah, a leg / ankle hook is entirely practical in a grapple; I’m 6'4 myself and that’s pretty much what I have to default to. I was just really dubious about the practicality of squaring up with a guy then pretending you can knock a guy off his feet, when he’s balanced, with your one leg at full extension.

Real ass question: are leg sweeps a thing anywhere?

I practice an Okinawan style, and the entire concept of lowering one’s whole body so you can stick your leg out at the other guy’s leg - as opposed to just taking a shuffle-step forward and doing a low kick or ankle hook - just befuddles me. It feels like a real good

You can parry through anything Orphan does, and his leaping attacks can be run under (which can be followed up by a quick turn and charged R2 for a visceral, even). His aggressiveness and huge HP count is a definite issue, but like most DS bosses pattern recognition will get you through. TL;DR: circle left.

What you’re experiencing is survival mechanics, as implemented by people who don’t play survival games and aren’t currently making one. It gets tossed in because developers skim over the concept and come out of it with “push this button to survive (repeat, ad infinitum)!” instead of creating in-depth systems that

It’s not surprising. The more change someone wants, the less they think they have to change in the process.

Good instincts.

If you have to think about it, the answer is no.

What about Todd Howard?

Or it could be a Two-Face reference, considering he’s flipping a coin.

Or, you know, you could realize that on conception the guy who wrote Deadpool straight up said, “This is Deathstroke from Teen Titans”, and that they’ve always punned off each other. Deadpool is named Wade Wilson specifically because Deathstroke is
