whenever someone says that ("would you like fries with your order") as an insult to demean someone I cringe
what the fuck is wrong with having a job. that comment is so fucking classist and gross. get over yourself
I saw a quite a few small kids with prayer tattoos in rural Cambodia. For some reason I don't think that would fly here even though it's cultural.
Why? I am South Asian and I had my ears pierced around age 3. I actually don't mind at all. My mom took care of the piercing etc. But I like wearing earrings so maybe it's different for those who don't.
I'm sure she's just wondering whether it'll be Dr. Voight or President Voight or Professor Voight or Lord Voight or Lady Voight or something of the sort ;)
Everything I've read says the anti-vaccine movement is bipartisan.
Getting the ears pierced is mostly cultural. I'm not saying it's right. I'm just explaining it to you. Latinos really think that it's better to pierce the ears when they are babies so they don't remember the pain. Again, not saying it's right, just explaining.

Expanding the current options for safe surrender and addressing the underlying causes of abandonment aren't mutually exclusive. Anything is better than abandoning a baby in a dumpster or the side of the road, and it's unrealistic to hold out for everyone to start using safe haven sites. It would also be pretty easy to…
Because the amount of money people have is rarely correlated with skills, talent, intelligence, hard work, financial savviness, or anything but the amount of money they were born into. People who say otherwise are deluding themselves into thinking either (a) that they deserve all the money they have or (b) that they…
I am so heartbroken for how desperately lonely this woman must be to believe this story.
I prefer my diamonds made from people!
Gorgeous, recycled and conflict-free.
What's the alternative to sanctions? Invasion? Like that's fucking worked out well for us in the last 15 years.
I personally love the French jeweler Le Gramme. They use recycled metals and I'm wearing two of their silver bracelets as I write. Beautiful minimal pieces unlike anything else on the market.
