Well, that seems reasonable on Jenner's part. I think most people with middle class or greater means would think about hiring a lawyer in that situation, whether or not they thought they were at fault.

I love Jack White, but I'm concerned that he's turning into Edward Scissorhands.

And she was not wearing a seat belt, which would have likely saved her life.

Paparazzi suck. Celebrities making really poor decisions ON TOP of this helps make these situations turn fatal :(

I'm not saying there may not exist mitigating factors. But to completely ignore his participation in the death of another human being is not justifiable. He was not "involved" he caused the crash.

I hate, hate, hate the treatment this story is getting. There are lots of real problems with this case: The sneering boss, the miscalculation of her FMLA leave, the inane lactation-room red tape, the District Court's unyielding derpitude, etc. etc.

Jenner killed someone. When you drive a car you are not supposed to hit other cars, even if someone you don't like is driving behind you. Stop with the passive descriptions of Jenner's involvement.

you can do this. right now. just stop buying the magazines. stop reading the blog posts. like this one don't read this one!

definitely shave your chest first

When I click on stories like this and read that paparazzi are involved, I get a sharp twinge of guilt for reading sites like this one that create demand and value around dangerous invasions of privacy.

Agree, but also must note that the driver of her limo was drunk.

oh there you go ruining the click baiteyness with logic and reason

The headline is false. The Supreme Court did not address this specific issue and did not rely on the fact that men can lactate as well in coming to its ruling. To quote the court itself:

Exactly. Because of the measles outbreak, a lot of people I know have been alarmed to discover friends and family fall among the anti-vaccination types. One of my friends went to the CDC page to get info to counter to his brother-in-law's anti-vac claims, and there wasn't enough info there to respond fully. Mostly

I'm all for alternative medicine for adults, I much prefer Chinese herbs, accupuncture and yoga to surgery, shots and non stop dr visits. But I'm an adult, I have my vaccines and I am not at a high risk for life threatening infections. (That I am aware of, anyway.)

I hear a lot about 'building natural immunity." These people fully believe that if you eat well and take the right nutritional supplements, you won't get the flu or measles, etc.

My bf just started back to graduate school for Public Health. His goal is to go to work for the CDC and focus on vaccine and preventable diseases. He used to work in pharmaceutical research, helping match doctors with research to benefit everyone, and then overseeing the research protocols. I am insanely proud of him.

It's warped, and wrong, but they believe that their kombucha, and probiotics, and weekly adjustments at the chiropractors will keep their immune systems so healthy that they will just fight off measles.

Too bad he had a regulated medical professional whose actions are overseen by a governing body administer his injection.

There is a myth perpetuated out there that a toddler does not have the strength to pull the trigger on many hand guns. This served as an argument against further safety features. These spate of toddlers shooting their parents, caregivers, friends and siblings can in part be blamed for that irresponsible wishful

She was a Responsible Gun Owner™ right up until that point. Now she isn't. So there is no reason to pretend this sort of thing happens to Responsible Gun Owners™, because she stopped being one that instant.
