If the car is loaded for touring with 4 adults (or 2 adults and 3-4 kids), plus luggage, and probably a full roof rack... or for vacation with 2 adults, bikes and camping gear... 430 miles of range will diminish to 300 or less. If the range were lower, it would be too low for a touring car.
