There was no world in which Tesla was worth more than the top 5 legacy automakers combined.

It should continue to slide, but as soon as people start jumping ship, Tesla will announce a new vehicle that will be “production ready” in 6 months. Stocks will soar, they’ll take 100,000 reservation deposits, and the car still wont be ready 4 years later. It’s the Tesla way.

Just like everyone has been claiming for a while, Tesla’s stock should continue to slide. It has always been massively inflated relative to the industries they compete it. However, Tesla seems to be the exception to just about every money rule, so that makes it almost impossible to short and I’m sure it will have

Or.....vote for democrats.  Democrat presidents will put better judges on the supreme court and on the federal courts in general.  Pretty simple.

Yes, I’m sure the company that wants to make a profit is intentionally sandbagging the assets they’ve bought and paid for out of either incompetence or ideological myopia. Or maybe people who own and use the things have a better idea of their capabilities and vulnerabilities than someone who's only seen a

You know how to end this? Arrest everyone involved on interstate fraud charges as you know they did so because its their standard MO. Find a few cases to anchor the charges. Sell a out of state grandmother “paint protection” without providing any protection? Enjoy the prison system for the 2-3 years it takes to hit

First gen product, the a fleet owner in the article complained that their EV truck has been recalled 6 times already and had significant downtime compared to their diesels. Mix that with a lack of trained techs to do the repairs, and it’s a pain right now.

You know what? When you count on ABS and just mash the pedal, that’s exactly what happens. When you mash the brakes without ABS, the same thing happens. But when you threshold brake and don’t flat spot your tires by locking them up, you tend to stop in a straight line.

Typically it’s the salespeople at those places, who could not R&D themselves out of a paper bag -- so likely not.

Every time I see a TV ad or an article about these self propelled resorts I scratch my head and wonder what the attraction is. On the plus side, the more tourists that get sucked onto these, the fewer tourists where I want go.

Lmao it’s a fuckin’ Viper, it’s supposed to be ridiculous, and the interior should remind you that you’re in a batshit machine that will try to murder you

Anytime I see a Fiat 600 I gush and envision my late father. These are much harder to find in the US vs a 500 but as a new born I was brought home in this actual car.

I so love the Saab Sonett. I have driven several and want one very much:

Hydrogen doesn't pass the back of envelope test. 1kg of hydrogen contains the equivalent of 40kWh of energy. It takes 50kWh to make by electrolysis. Because of it's low energy density it would take twenty truckloads of hydrogen to equal the amount of energy stored in one truckload of gasoline. I can tell you the exact
