Corporate America could have set up their pension fund in a trust. That way, it is entirely off of their books, and they can’t raid it whenever the mood strikes.

Who’s bright idea was “let’s replace pensions that are managed by people with financial backgrounds with 401k plans where individuals with absolutely no idea how to invest control them.”
I have been with my insurance carrier for decades longer than I should have. After years of my rates going up with no claims, no tickets, no points, I went to my insurance agent’s office to have him explain to me why my rates keep going up. He talked about how I am “pooled” with other insured motorists, and therefore…
The problem with your argument is that auto assembly workers have specialized skills that are not readily transferable to other industries, and maybe not transferable to other auto manufacturers. Without collective bargaining, the corporation gets the “lucky to have a job” attitude.
He is only on 9-10 on weekdays, when he shows up. He also has his “Mad Money” show in the evening. Again, when he shows up.
Cramer is all about stock valuation and shareholder wealth. His horizon does not extend beyond the fiscal quarter. Customers are only a means to an end, and nothing else. In other words, he represents capitalism at its purest. What he refuses to understand is that his mindset is the reason unions exists, there are…
I neglected to take into account the much longer wheelbase than I was accustomed to. I figured it out quickly.

Same in my area (Richmond, VA). F-150's are used as family haulers by people who have 20-mile (one way) commutes and constantly bitch about the price of gas.
Not being RHD disqualifies from Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard duty.
The seller didn’t forget who he’s working for.
Makes you wonder how many sex workers he started with.
Still having a loan balance tells me the car is on its second owner at the least. IDK, it looks in good shape but as cars like these go through owners, the more they get beaten like rented mules. Maybe this care is an exception, but the rent is too damn high. ND.
From the Washington Post:
He wasn’t right before that.
In the book “My Years with General Motors”, Alfred Sloan dedicated an entire chapter to this engine. He acknowledged the engineering failures, but held the Oakland Motorcar Company up as its sacrificial lamb.
Are you still upset that you pump our own gas, or an operator isn’t asking you whom to connect to when you pick up your phone handset?
