I'm a Dude Playing a Dude Disguised as Another Dude

Who was damaged?  Someone who was planning on choking on a bone?

As a frequent driver of the Capitol Beltway, I have always observed a marked difference in policing between the Virginia State Police and the Maryland State Police. In Virginia, they will let you exceed the speed limit by about 10 mph. In Maryland, they will make shit up and ticket you for it. I know this from

“AI” is now a hype word like “blockchain” was 4-5 years ago, and nobody fully understands either.

I was in a gas station in Northeast Maryland when three Pagans walked in. I quickly walked out while avoiding any kind of eye contact and not making any sudden moves. I don’t scare easily, but these guys were rabid pit bulls on PCP.

Dude fucked around with a firing squad.  He found out.

Just finished watching all three seasons.  Didn’t know “Rock the Boat” was a thing.

It’s like the put clear coat directly on the primer.

The auto industry has chosen to learn the hard way.  Shame.

I’m old enough to be around when these were abundant.  Driven and ridden in many of them.  ND.

A car “losing half its value as soon as you drive it off the lot” has no meaning if you keep the car for 15-20 years.  I was young and stupid once and bought into the scam of buying a car every 2-3 years and going upside down quite often.  Now that I am old and.... less stupid, I buy new, meticulously maintain them,

Tires and the subwoofer made the decision easier.  ND.

You must be a service manager.

My only recollection of this era Jetta is seeing them broken down on the side of the road or on a rollback.

I know I caught a lot of shit on my post vilifying the dealership. If it took a teenage kid who worked for a contracted clean up crew to cause extreme damage to a dealership, I could do far worse.  If I replaced that kid, I could have single-handedly destroyed this dealership. Not only would I have had access to that

And that excuses the dealership?  I don’t think so.

So that exonerates the dealership?

So that statistical analysis makes it acceptable, right?

If Mr. Alston hadn’t complained, how much longer would this have continued? Someone isn’t doing their fucking job.

So it wasn’t discovered until the one affected black customer complained.  No checks and balances at this dealership.  Just a total shit show.

I definitely don’t think it’s made up.  I have worked in dealerships before and know they succeed only on individual heroics and miracles.  They have very little process control beyond book rate:  Get it done in the time specified.  For someone to suddenly discover the stickers have been tampered is incompetence in
