I read years ago that, with a group of people, you don’t add the number of brains, you multiply them. That is, a group of three people is 1x1x1=1 brain. If you add a half-wit, the equation is 1x1x.5=.5 of a brain.

This is a perfect case of keeping your mouth shut and eating the overpayment. Otherwise, you piss off your workforce and the consumer through bad publicity.

Have they even tested their backups? Or do they have a library full of unusable media?  Do they even have a disaster recovery plan?  The next few days will answer that question. 

I had to deal with the stupidest manager ever.  Before spam email filters were implemented, she would respond to the “Click Here!  This is Funny!” emails.  The result was having to rebuild her machine while loudly complaining that she needs a computer “NOW”.  This happened an average of once a month for over a year.
