Planning for unforseen circumstances is why i do it, i financed at 72 months for 1.4%. I put 50% down and rather keep the rest in my bank just incase something happens. Like replacing my roof that cost 12k that i put on my credit card, collected the 2% cash back and immediately paid off.

I applied for outside financing the day before getting my new 15 5.0. Ive had some unforseen circumstances in my life that screwed with my credit, i was not expecting a good rate, but i pay off my credit card weekly and carry no debt, my focus st that i was trading was paid off. My fico was sub 700 though.

I have a v8 silverado, it actually gets out of its own way alright, nothing like my 15 mustang 5.0, but well enough. I do 80mph with both on 295 in jersey and the mustang wants to go faster, the truck is like, sure, if you want to wrestle to keep me in one lane and get 10 mpg.

Problem is, once they stop, if they pull foward and everyone repeats that on a slight time reaction delay, that is one of the causes for the accordion effect in bumper to bumper traffic.
