40k for a salvaged corvette. Even if you fix it for 5k, your now into the vette for 45k. The problem with a salvage vehicle is that banks wont loan on then, so that is 45k out of pocket. Also, people buy brand new cars for the warranty, so your paying a preimum, but in the cause of a salvage car, the warranty is null…
