Last month, I recorded my drive DOWN the mountain and the video clocks at about 28 minutes. In a 2014 Grand Caravan, first gear mostly held me at speed but the brakes were judiciously applied because of the two vehicles ahead of me.

Same here. We had to replace my wife’s van a couple months ago. We needed something newer than 22 years old and capable of dealing with climbing a mountain pass and Nevada heat. We’d only had the old van for about 3 years and for what we originally paid, it did well. Now I have to sell the old one.
