In other news, a new delivery service hits the streets of Toronto. They promise to deliver the cargo verrrry quickly.
Nice car but crack price. Sadly, I could get a much more reliable new Mini for $20100 and have money left to buy an additional classic one for $6500 on eBay.
Lots of room to perform in the back of the van!
Amazing, I thought the photo was a Corvair at first.
I agree on the yappy hosts but I'd rather listen to them than the crap on the local FM stations. I really dislike the advertising on the FM radio. Strip joints, lawyers, plastic surgeons, local car dealers, casinos. Ugh. Play the music!
Good point but I've never been there. I hear its nice. Someday, I'll take the RV to Alaska.
AM/FM, CASSETTE, MP3 AND CD are nice but I don't ever want to not have satellite radio again. I've had Sirius since 2006. No commercials on most channels, able to get the same signal anywhere in the US. I can drive cross country and never have to change channels unless I want to change channels.
Yes it takes plastic but too many of them aren't stocked with receipt paper and you're forced to waste time in line for a stinkin' piece of paper.
I've hand cranked an engine. 1934 McCormick Deering Farmall tractor w/4 cylinder engine. Never had it kick back at me, luckily. That was a fun time. I think that tractor still runs, too. I wouldn't want to hand crank the DD. Can't imagine that as many people would drive if we didn't have electric starters.
I really miss a dimming mirror, because Roadmaster. The RM has it and the Jetta doesn't have it.
@Reverse. Donuts, Kay's Bakery in Holyoke Mass has the very best doughnuts in the world!
Sum of it's parts = great! NP for a sleeper k-car wagon.
Yes, I would call NP on this one. I know the engine will leak and the heads will be a pain but...
With my Jetta, once it is warmed up it is fine to start and stop at will. Only time it is an issue is when it is cold out and the block is cold, then the glow plugs run before starting. Not sure about the other engines.
Wow. No way I would consider this monstrosity.
Wow it's face looks like it will have a role in the next Pixar "Cars" release. Side view is all business, though... and looks good.
In 4 years at this job, I probably have visited Jalopnik 30 times while at work. I don't really have much free time when I'm there. The curious thing is the General Manager of our place sometimes "sets up office" at our workstation. His desktop onour shared computer has all of his saved website icons. He is often…
I whole-heartedly agree!
Heck, I can't even remember the last time I saw a Skyliner in person. Or 3000 GT Spyder for that matter! Or Corvairs but Corvairs don't really like summertime in Las Vegas, just too hot for any of the air-cooled engines.
