It's like a standard work environment. The standard practice is when the "suits" are around you're on your best behavior. If you are already doing the right thing, you don't/won't have to worry about the "suits" showing up.
And what a feat that was in 1957! Considering the available technology they were able to make a top that worked...sometimes. It was a huge acheivement, indeed!
Mitsubishi 3000 GT Spyder was the first modern era folding hardtop since the Skyliner, or am I mistaken?
I've had a couple of vehicles that could have used an additional gear. Cruising at 65 in 5th with the tach at 3200 rpm. Maybe the car didn't have the power to run at a lower engine speed? I did not engineer the car, but it seemed to be willing to move well enough to warrant an additional gear.
Indeed!
I wouldn't want to be in front of it on the way down the other side of the hill, either!
The building looks like it could have been plucked from the middle of nowhere Nevada. Some of those cars have appealing shapes and would "clean up nicely" I bet.
Need for Speed 2 had this car! Very lust-worthy. It must be locked away somewhere.
Lovely! Considering the era and technology available to Dusenberg, the results were incredible. Amazing power and stunning looks.
I like it. Looks like a regular hot rod but different. I think the best part is that they used the Volvo engine. We always see the SBC or 302 jammed into the usual Resto-Roadsters but they didn't just think outside of the box, they created their own box.
If it is new to me I can call it new. I think that if the model is still in production, there could be an arguement for calling it new for a reasonable amount of time. A VW Type 2 bus could be "new" by this definition based on the fact that they're still being made in Brazil. [en.wikipedia.org]
Ride it out!
In a pinch, a charged car battery and small inverter will provide power for a while, too.
The CR-V is based on the Honda Civic. Defined as a "Compact Station Wagon" on Wikipedia. Yes, sold as a truck but there is no operator control over the 4wd system and it is unibody.
Mitsu's 3000GT VR-4 was another great car.
Galant VR-4 is mentioned way earlier. Took me a long time to find it.
Great choice!
