Didn't Nobu get "burned to death" in Daredevil season 1, and then show up again in season 2?
Glad I wasn't the only one confused by that.
Gotham's a pretty entertaining show now. Even at its worst point, I don't think it was ever this bad.
Oh, I understand that, but for a show like Iron Fist that's centered around martial arts, you'd expect the actor playing the main character to be really good at martial arts (or trained up to that point).
Yeah, I don't think Colleen's early fights are particularly compelling or all that believable, either. Miles better than Danny's, though.
Colleen's fights up to that point are okay, but I still don't think they were particularly compelling. (They're miles better than Danny's early fights, of course.)
I assume you meant Danny, not Matt (since Danny's the one who supposedly trained all the time).
Yeah, episode 6's fights are definitely the most interesting to watch so far (especially because there are multiple fights in the episode).
I'm almost halfway through the season so far; one of the fights in the 4th or 5th episode especially frustrated me because there was literally a cut every second. It was impossible to follow the action, and the punches had no weight to them as a result.
…Does anyone think that's anything other than an obviously scripted but poorly executed attempt at comedy?
I think I borrowed the game from the library or something way back when… I never got any farther than the driving test. (I think I did beat it just before I returned the game, but then the following mission had a bug that made the game crash anyway.)
…!
That's just ridiculous.
You haven't kept up with Naruto, have you? I think 99% of the last 15 months of episodes have been filler. In the middle of an arc.
Apparently most of the things she "said" were preprogrammed (i.e. she pre-scripted them before the interview itself) into the tablet. You can see her typing "Obama" into the keyboard when Channing actually asks a question of his own.
From what I recall, Rango was very enjoyable.
GTA hardly pretends to be original - it very openly references and mocks many parts of pop culture.
Someone actually did edit the Uncharted games (1-3) into basically movie form (mostly focusing on the cutscenes, with occasional gameplay sequences connecting them) and posted them online several years ago. Since I've never owned a PlayStation system, it was a pretty decent way to experience the story.
Now You See Me is an unmitigated pile of shit. The ridiculousness of the premise is arguably the least of its problems. (And apparently it's getting a sequel…)
