There’s almost nothing worse than sitting in traffic on a hot, vibrating engine in triple-digit heat during the summer.

I’m pretty sure lane filtering and lane splitting (below a certain speed) is legal in my state, but I’m not a fan.
Motorcyclists: “Ha, those cagers suck at driving!”
Counterpoint: Motorcycles suck and lane-splitting (call it what it is) is obnoxious and dangerous to cars and trucks who are changing lanes in slow moving traffic.
I understand the rear-end argument, but I feel lane splitting just adds more danger to roads. Isn’t it more likely for someone to not see a motorcycle and make a lane change? From my experience motorcyclists also seem to ‘filter’ at speeds in excess of what is legal.
Chinese billionaires? How many of those will still exist when if this thing ever becomes operational? China is cracking down on excessive wealth already. It’s as if their dictators suddenly realized that Communism is a thing they have ignored for seven decades already, and extreme wealth gap might cause popular revolut…
“It is not a truck that anyone really asked for, given that this is the kind of truck more expected of Ford or GMC, but it’s here anyway, doing its best. Capstone? Capstone.”
$75k is a value proposition, compared to some of its competitors.
Nobody asked for the Capstone? WTF are you even doing, writing about automobiles? Luxury trucks are a booming segment, and the big three can’t satisfy demand. People have also been asking for an updated Tundra for over half a decade, and the previous top of the line 1794 Edition sold well in the context of the Tundra.…
Are Challengers actually even that unreliable?
I’ve had the “Should I wait” conversation with several friends. The thing I keep coming back too is that if you look at the average house prices in my state, they have gone down by more than 2% *ONCE* since the great depression. In 2007/2008.
That is very much in living memory so people are obsessed with it, but with…
People have been saying that for years. The current rise is unsustainable, but a crash in housing prices isnt going to happen. At least not because of a banking crash. If you are waiting for that, then you are definitely going to miss out on buying a house.
It’s far easier, and less expensive, to build new infrastructure for 6 million people, than it is 350 million.
Norway is super long, but the vast majority of the population lives in the Southern 1/3 of the country. I’m sure it varies from person to person, but I don’t think that many folks are going from Southern cities like Oslo to Northern cities like Tromso on a regular basis, and probably most that do are going to fly.…
“The English colonies in Canada did not join the Revolutionaries’ cause back then the Queen of England was considered the sovereign of the country.”
It’s been really unsettling to watch liberals react to this basically the same way that the right responded to the Floyd protests. People love the cops as long as they are directed against those that they perceive as their political enemies.
You both likely have states that use fuel taxes to pay for road maintenance. Whether they do that well or not is a different story. Whether those monies are firewalled or are 100% fungible is another story.
I am going to get the Ferrari 512 and the Countach
If you are a drinker, I find breweries, distilleries, and wineries pretty fun to visit. They can give you a bit of the local culture since many have a certain local theme, and it’s fun to just relax, have a drink, and maybe talk to some strangers.
