Kim Wexler at the end of this episode be all like:

not better, just different. slower, more leisurely, but just as compelling.

It’s damn close...

“Let’s do it again.”

I think Wrath of Khan is good but not awesome(I prefer Search for Spock) and “Space Seed” has a good premise but suffered from a major case of the Idiot Plots, so maybe that’s why I wasn’t as bothered by bringing back Khan as some people.

Same here. I liked it from a non-trek fan perspective, however, knowing what I now know about Khan, I can see why people didn’t like it.

Literally the only thing Christian about Trump is that he claims to be a Christian. Sometimes they’ll admit he’s not a real believer, but that God is working through him. But all I’ve got to say to that is:

“(overlooking that Trump has never even admitted to his transgressions,”

The Evangelical beliefs seem to be built around picking the worst option at every turn and then being very smug about it. Like they don’t align to any part of the Bible and their beliefs all seem to contradict themselves until you realize that the main link is that everything they do is the awful choice.

This article is really long but fascinating as it explains the twisting of the evangelical movement and community over the last century. I wish some of them would actually read it, but even though its from an evangelical Republican who was George W Bush’s head speechwriter they would probably still call it liberal

I like this review, so I feel bad about nitpicking, but re: the first paragraph...

Which would bring Lucy Lawless’ Xena into this Extended Universe, and I can only assume from there Battlestar Galactica (they even have angels!) and Ash Vs. The Evil Dead. And that brings us to Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. which means that this all ties into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Having seen the first movie three times — it’s my personal Worst Movie Ever — I could not be more excited for this.

But what he didn’t say was that Luke would die in a speech given before some galactic senate, which would have been the exciting conclusion to 9 hours of all kinds of bills and laws passed by this senate. And we would have learned Luke and Leia’s ancestry back 42 generations, because NOTHING is as important as knowing

A 70 year old Jedi training another 70 year old to be a Jedi doesn’t sound like a very forward thinking plan to me.

I realize the English language has a lot of complication and nuance, but I’m relatively certain we have a term for what happens when you have sex with someone and they dont consent.

These people legitimately think they’re fighting a holy war, it’s disturbing as hell.

Thoughts and prayers, Roy.
