>Jalops: We want a RWD V8 sedan with a manual and no crazy styling
Take the friends having babies out of the equation. You will find they will start hanging out with other couples with kids. They have no single friends other than the ones they are trying to fix you up with.
There also needs to be a point of contact (i.e. salesman) that can answer specific trim level, mechanical, and technical questions from the buyer.
The problem with these conversations is that to some people “dealership” means “a store where you go to buy a car” and to other people it means “a god given contractual and legislatively protected right to be a middleman in a transaction between an end customer and an automaker”.
The last time I checked the Golf R and the Autobahn trim of the GTI both have a manual option. The take rate on manuals for those cars is dropping but is still a solid 44%, so VW is still committed to selling them.
You got a little bootlace on your tongue, buddy.
Nuetral- End fuel economy targets full stop. Focus regulation on exhaust quality for ALL vehicles- no more heavy truck or motorcycle leeway. Close all loopholes pertaining to trucks/SUV’s that have made them so attractive to produce. Outlaw all lift kits not certified by a state certified engineer. Stiff crash…
This isn’t a consumable or absorbable thing like written content. I can buy a book, read it, say I don’t like it and return it for a refund and keep the knowledge I gained from it. Shitty, but it’s possible. Works the same for a bag of chips from Aldi or from a burger at a restaurant. “I don’t care for it, can I have…

That’s possible. I initially thought it was be gas price related. If they can handle the cost of commuting in a Jeep they do it. Then I realized that people generally don’t figure in the operating costs when buying a car.
It’s very easy to shit on claims when they turn out to be false
More interior space then bed. Why does anybody who buys one of these need a truck again?
Funny is that I want to bag on GM for the opposite reason: They shouldn’t be doing this at all.
Ahhh, 9/11 the day where we solemnly remember 3000 killed by a few people indoctrinated by religion into think they were doing God’s work. Meanwhile we have 66 times more people dead from a virus that was allowed to spread by our government cause they thought only blue states would get hurt. Oh and our current…
We could fix that, but apparently in the US punishing assholes is discriminatory. Not sarcasm either.
I’m sure you’re a better-than-average driver, so you can go faster. Problem is, 99% of drivers think they’re better than average. Lots of them kill innocent people.
Remember when Montana went to Reasonable and Prudent and had to go back from it because people went “oh you mean a speed that far outstrips my actual driving ability?”
Chip in $50, take a quick ride, crash the car, say “oh... sorry man...” and then walk away.
