Goddamn dynamic pricing. Shouldn’t the Mets do it backwards? The more that the team wins, the cheaper the tickets should get. Because the inevitable crash is coming. They’re like the Jet Blue of MLB teams.

I swear that my (then) 3-year old, whipped out a “shut the fucking door” once, and I didn’t think that my wife or I had ever said that around her before. I mean, I probably did. And did I laugh when she said that? You know I did. I too will be getting a lot of calls from the principal.

I’m really happy for Villar. I miss him in Milwaukee, and pity that he got sent to Baltimore, but he seemed like a good dude. A dude who deserves a much better fate than being an Oriole.

He might already be on top of Ivanka....

I firmly believe that the loss of the August 31 deadline is both a blessing and a curse. Too many teams believe that they are still contenders. I’m a fan of the Brewers, who did a bunch of “buying” yesterday. That team isn’t a contender. Their Opening Day starting rotation consists of 4 guys who are deceased, and one

Huh. That does make sense. Thanks for the reply!! I never considered that it was related to the stroke, and not an overall swimming rule.

As someone who really only watches any swimming during the Olympics, and only briefly at that, I have a serious questions.

Shit, I would think it’s affable today!!

HA! The only thing on that chart not listed as an estimate is the $2.5 million payout from naming rights. So, at least they have 0.9% of their investment guaranteed to come back to them.

I wonder what will happen to him now that he is on board with this agreement. It sort of seems like a complete about-face to me.

Well, sure. But don’t forget to include the 2% ticket fees they’ll get from the concerts that will happen at the arena, too. So, it’s more like all Flames tickets will be like $503.47, but now I’m just splitting hairs.

Can we use this as an argument for re-instituting the waiver trade deadline?

Look, I despise Jim Harbaugh more than I despise just about anyone else in the history of college athletics, save maybe Urban Meyer. Which means that this is an exceptionally difficult thing to say. But, I sort of agree with him and see where he’s coming from. If you include his comments with his tweet talking about a

Hector, you’re doing God’s work here. I’d like to propose sending you to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for a few hours. When’s your next off day?

Man, Angel Hernandez really has been doing this for awhile, hasn’t he?

In Chicago, that’s just the express lane for the Dan Ryan.

Haha...I thought it made plenty of sense, too. Definitely gross, definitely not incomprehensible.

I hope that we can get some sort of green revolution going, but it just seems so hopeless these days. So many Trumpers just blindly follow him and believe that global warming is junk science and not real, etc.

You make a fantastic argument. So I’m curious what would happen if some big-time Republican businessman founded a business built with the sole purpose of cleaning up the planet for a profit. I doubt that such a thing could ever exist, which as you suggest, means we’re all doomed.

As a serious followup question to this,  I’ve truly never understood why climate science is a political issue? Who the fuck caused that problem?  Please tell me it doesn’t go all the way back to Al Gore.
