My understanding is that Turing was saying that whether a machine passes the test is an empirical question; whether a machine "thinks" cannot be well defined except in relation to that question.

"So I guess the lesson is … never give up your reward to someone else in your alliance or that person will organize to immediately get you voted out."

"Can" as in "The American government claims to have the authority" or "can" as in "it's actual a realistic possibility"?

There was a Big Brother season where one of the houseguests thought the others would underestimate her if she claimed to be only 20. Apparently none of them of were paying attention to the contestant requirements (minimum 21) or thought to say "Hey, isn't an alcohol-based reward a rather common reward on this show?"

It reminded me of the Michael/Nikita situation, although they are more limited in adding people to the team, seeing as how adding another "don't notice this person" server would be rather difficult.

I wonder how certain Josh was about the statue at the immunity challenge. Isn't the fact that two out of three of the other players thought the previous symbol was temple, a really big clue that the current symbol is temple?

Yeah, several days edited down to an hour (and in this case, there presumably was footage from more than three days) can't really be relied on for giving an accurate account.

"Hell, Alicia is taking money from the man"
