Not even marketing can destroy the quality of our cars, but building a brand takes time.

Cadillac's best time is yet to come. The ubiquity of our German arch rivals will create the space for us. More and more people will want a car that offers a more distinctive styling, that is a face in the crowd. Cadillac's iconic and bold design is the best differntiator. The country of origin in terms of where the

I forgot the many answers I had prepared when I reached abstract 4) of your thesis, but carrying the name Uwe is indeed a punishment. That said, I am not even aware of the worst film director ever carrying my awful name.

I would love to have a convertible in the brand. I am "open" for "open"....

I think I can arrange that...

Accept your point of view. But whatever you think of the TV spot. At least it offered a point of view as well. And it was aired just ten times, but generated several million views on youtube. Being a marketing person, I call this at least efficient communication. My finance department sees this as the new benchmark

I am surprised by the question. I am always told that my appreciation for wagons is due to my mean European upbringing...

The ELR was never intended to be a volume car. It is a brand statement. One that reveals how progressive Cadillac is in these days. We are open to all alternative powertrains for the future, but we also believe in the efficiency gains in combustion engines.

You are right, our Engineers can for sure. But the brand must also be able to carry a price tag in the league you indicated and people who spend that much on a car value exclusivity. I don't know.

I drive an ATS sedan 2.0l Turbo with AWD in Crimson Red. Awesome. Great to hear you are a CTS lover, sorry to hear you ended up buying something else. Diesel and Cadillac are no contradiction. The best way to overcome the stereotype you heard about is producing great driving and great looking cars that will attract

Everybody loves coupes, but nobody needs them. How about our ATS coupe? I have order forms with me...

Exactly what I was thinking...

Which is your preference. I am still taking suggestions...

From a brand building point of view, it would be nice to have a convertible, but convertible's are tough. The business case must work. It is not about cutting the roof off a coupe, the investments are significant.

Yes, the cars can beat the world's best, but the brand image naturally lacks behind and it is, you are right, an awareness problem. We simply do not yet have enough cars in the streets to make people change their view of Cadillac and see how great our cars are. Advertising helps, but nothing beats street presence!

The Escalade is almost a a brand in itself. Truck-derived as it is for all good reasons, it cannot fulfill the role of a flagship for the car range. What is? Wait and see!

The 2015 ATS Coupe that got me here today

We will increase our presence in Europe over the next few years. And central test drive fleets will make sure you can get into a car even if there is no dealership around
