I thought the depressurization myth was disproved... Unless it was a big explosion, the pilot can always drop down to lower altitude until he/she can land the plane. A simple bullet-hole would not be sufficient to bring down the plane, obviously counting out hitting a fuel source.

It doesn't really seem like a waste, in fact, it seems like an efficiency increase... one cop can do much more now than what many cops could do before.

Ya, agreed, that is really scary that you know exactly what went through my mind!

ehhhem.... should've been more obvious. thank you. :D haha

this really is unfortunate... i have enjoyed gizmodo, but this format is awful.... PLEASE WORK ON IT. It is simple, but i like sharing stories on facebook, with the image and summary in the preview, but it can only be 'liked' on fb now. anyone know if there is another way to do this now?

for my sake, i hope there is an approval screen before it is posted.... or that i just dont get the phone. haha

not to say he's right, bc he's obviously not, but mexico was mentioned in there too. could lead one to think of mexican peso's... :D

it probly means that it meets the specs set forth by the military for similar products.... im just sayin...

@BCouto: not to say it is perfectly fine, but sometimes the size of the object keeps you from using a different box.... or it is late in the day and you are ready to go home. I've done similar things on occasion at work. (shipping clerk)

@theape: u mean the canadian game show? do you have a problem with it? :D

@obbie: i enjoyed that reply after so much discussion on naming ships after living people.....

@DrForbidden: hmmm.. can a country tax a person for foreign property?

@Ham_Sandwich: you could also purchase the show online.... its a crazy idea, i kno.... /s haha

you sound like you have a chip on your shoulder, jesus... have something against cruise ships?

@gssarna: I realize they are being extreme, but that does not make the perpetrators innocent.... calling them mafia makes it sound like they are extorting innocent people. It is true the system is broken, but they were screwed the first time the items were stolen rather than purchased. (of course i realize that not

@ALT: I'm not really certain what you want me to say. obviously, to me it's somewhere between the cost of a cd at a retail outlet and the tremendously high fines they want to extort (because she is not only stealing for her own use, but to give for free to others. however, i realize that is not a commonly held view).

@skt.smth: agreed. the system of fines is rather extreme.

@skt.smth: except for the fact that these people were the ones committing the crimes rather than the riaa. not sure the example really fit there. it may be excessive, but mafia-esque is a little sensational to say the least.
