Meanwhile, putting a crucifix in a jar of piss and taking a picture of it makes you a hero.

It's beneath contempt to observe that a) movie studios exist to make movies, and b) fundraising groups conduct fundraising activities?

"You can study innumerable groups in countries around the world today, or over centuries of recorded history, without finding a single example of the even or random outcomes that are used as a benchmark for determining discrimination."

Had I made a strange claim, that might be a sensible approach.

I love how the headline just uncritically parrots GLAAD's conclusion, as though GLAAD's methodology for determining the proper level of "representation" is self-evidently reasonable—or, for that matter, as though the job of movie studios is to meet arbitrary social justice demands, and not, oh, I don't know, produce

"No one is forcing you, or anyone, to see this film."

The important thing is that America is demeaned as uniquely ignorant.

"If you had a nickel you wouldn't be writing shit here, go ask the russkies for a pay raise."

If I had a nickel for every time a liberal Democrat made a tasteless slavery comparison, I'd be richer than Ivanka Trump.

"It’s just an echo chamber. It’s the same 100,000 people agreeing with each other."
—The AV Club.

Out of curiosity, what's hilarious about this? Are you contending that the American and international political establishments supported Trump, or that they simply don't exist?

You believe that an "incompetent moron" could single-handedly defeat a global political establishment to become the most powerful individual in the world, and *I'm* the one whose argument lacks logical coherence?

You don't really mean that.

And yet he can run a successful presidential campaign, despite virulent opposition from all institutions of national and global power (major parties, the press, academia, Hollywood, etc., etc.) and being outspent 2:1 by the most well-connected politician on the planet.

Aw, gee—thanks!

Time for today's two-minute hate, I see.

"I really wonder if it accomplishes anything besides annoying his secretary."

You know what else displays your privilege? Ranting about the totalitarian horror of U.S. Republicans while Obama-funded Islamist "freedom fighters" systematically rape and torture children to death in the Middle East.

No. Black Celebration is good. Nothing is better than Violator.

The Eiffel Tower is so much more romantic, now that it's surrounded by a bulletproof anti-terror wall. How soon can I book my flight?
