Even the Mexican minitruck is unibody, though, so not sure what the OP is talking about. Mahindra bailed instead of bringing theirs over, too

sure...but those are long gone. I mean, they’re even shutting down the minitruck situation at this point
I would get this in heartbeat due to my lengthy commute but because deer...I won’t
which is fine
That’s actually a great idea to create a sub brand for their high-selling Rav. Wow.
This is an excellent point.
You must have gotten that Rav that got the bananas V-6, or the Prime now with the most hp.
They very much care. It is simply that Subaru has sucessfully cultivated their brand so that no one cares about the CVT trainwreck.
not to mention the dumpster fire that their engines have been
Yeah, the last one looked like it was designed by committee. This ones like it’s actually trying to fit in with Ford’s lineup. Don’t know that I would ever buy it, but it looks better.
so, you mean the Maverick then
Excellent points.
Exactly right. It’s the old story, “first them came for someone else...and that wasn’t me, so I ignored it.” Paraphrasing, of course.
I always liked these, and considered one for a trail rig, and then I saw the crash test results. Never any dice for me
I believe this is long overdue...but of course you won’t be seeing your local shitbox uninspected pickup truck getting rung up, and therein lies the rub.
Nope, this isn’t true at all. They were very reliable by all standards.
Yeah, the hardbodies were solid all around and known to be so. I was able to do amazing things with a short bed 4x2 that had no business being as great as it was.
If they hadn’t been eaten by the rust monster, I’d snag one of those instead of the comparable Toyota in a heart beat
I am amused BUT YOU NEED TO SAY MOAR
Source, please.
this is a good point
