I know, I feel like I now owe an apology to my conservative parents who said he was ”of the devil.” Sorry mom, you were right.

To be fair that could also describe Alice Cooper, who seems like a perfectly nice guy off stage. Too many people assumed the same about Warner, and were catastrophically wrong.

As a teen of the 90s, we staunchly defended this creep’s version of artistry. Just because someone had a violent, Satanic, stage persona did not make him a bad guy. We all felt so cool and grownup that we got this esoteric concept.

I don’t get what makes Riseborough’s nomination any different than any other nomination, when studios literally buy their way into the Oscars with endless promotional crap (looking at you, Paramount), and low-budget films are basically shut out. Is it so much more egregious if a bunch of actors get together to promote

Uhhh...Reach......???? Roiland physically hurt and imprisoned someone, and made advances (probably tried more than ‘advances’) on underage minors. Rowling said some things that were “offensive?”. Not even close. Try again. Better luck next time.

(pushes up glasses) Goofy actually peaked in the 1940s with his “How to..” series and the Art of Skiing. The series is peak comedy that can be appreciated by all ages unlike the Goofy Movie who I can’t imagine appealing to anyone over the age of six.

I can tell you what would probably happen here (in Germany). They would look into the person’s state (sleep, alcohol, whatever), but also into the company. Did the person have enough time to rest the night before? Did they get their breaks? There was a briefing, great. Was the “15 foot zone” delineated with anything?

Thats a really naive way of looking at safety. Blame the victim. Safety systems should always assume we’re distracted and inattentive because we ALL have moments like this and NOBODY deserves to die because of it.

If we leave it at ‘it was the victim’s fault, case closed’ then nothing improves and someone else WILL

She already had three kids so no Darwin award, we’re doomed.

Not “he”.

You seem really pissed that the guy has a bunch of other shady stuff in his past and that she is, at worst, guilty of lying about those things being new information to her. TJ Holmes could turn out to be the Zodiac and you’re gonna be like “How could Amy Robach do this?”.

You really don’t like her, do you? He’s apparently had multiple affairs but she’s the ‘triflin one, eh?

I tell anybody that will listen that the trades aren’t consolation prizes or the places where you stick the kids who can’t succeed in school. They’re real jobs that pay great wages. I worked for a major mechanical contractor and the HVAV guys were all making six figures (plus whatever money they were making on the

OK, so an Asian guy shot up a bunch of Asians over jealously, and it’s actually white supremacy?!?!

It’s starting to look like just another unhinged, jealous, violent man story. From the LA Times:

It’s good to know in case your car doesn’t, but I believe most cars A/C automatically starts when the defrost is on.

Your central thesis is incorrect... Motivations for committing acts of violence are INDEED important. While flawed, we have a justice system that allows for a person to stand up and spout whatever defense they come up with and society is responsible for determining the validity.

This whole article feels like a self-reaction to you having assumed early on the shooter was some other race attacking Asians, but then he wasn’t. So you wrote a reaction to your own wrong assumption that never existed.

Contrary to what this article is trying to say, motive is indeed very important.

Got it. So when an Asian person shoots at Asian people, it’s racial violence. When black people shoot at black people, that’s also racial violence. And when white people shoot at white people, that can also be concluded as racial violence.
