I feel of all the comments that I have read that there is a point being missed. Most the comments are treating these new driverless cars as just that, cars i.e. a direct replacement for something that is already being used. But i think that defeats the purpose.

She definitely know there was a chance of the the Ares coming to help, which is a fact that her Jon needed to know. She asked Jon to wait several times in hopes of getting a greater force, but didn’t share why she expected there to be a chance for more soldiers.
