Considering that the Sixth and Eighth Doctor eras are entirely unrepresented on this list, I'd recommend "Vengeance on Varos" (definitely Colin Baker's best) and the 1996 TV movie (Paul McGann's one and only), particularly the latter as it demonstrates just how good a Doctor that McGann would have made had he been

This list should definitely have "The Daleks", "The Mind Robber", "The War Games" (despite its four hour length, it drags amazingly little), "Inferno", "The Talons of Weng-Chiang", "Kinda", "Remembrance of the Daleks" and "Ghost Light" on it. Provided that you're already quite familiar with the series during the 1960s

Considering that it's called "Pond Life", I thought that the Ponds would appear for more for than eight seconds but maybe that's just me...

Millions of people watched him take that momentous first step in 1969, millions more have seen it since and billions more will remember his name for centuries to come.

Went to Edinburgh Zoo the other day and was disappointed that I couldn't get a decent view of the lions. This more or less makes up for it.

Knew all of these except for 6 and 7. Still, a great list!

Sounds brilliant!

I bloody hope not.

Although if we're not careful, the Daleks could gain control of them and use them for time travel.

He had one, the 1996 TV Movie with Paul McGann. To say nothing of all the spin-off media. Tron and Max Headroom weren't around too much in the 1990s either.

I quite like the complete lack of subtlety that Psycho used in coming up with his supervillain name. Short of "The Bad Guy", there was really no less subtle name that he could have used.

Must check that out so! Thanks for the tip!

Slightly disappointed that this included the owner of the time travelling phone box but that not the owner of the time travelling police box, who regenerated into his eighth incarnation in 1996 (well, 1999 in the TV Movie itself...), particularly since time travel and preventing / reversing the alteration of history

Considering that the series tends to use iconic British structures and building as hubs of alien activity, it'd be more surprised if it wasn't!

A lovely lady by all accounts and, in Tom Baker's words, a darling companion. Only 62. That's just two years older than my mum. It's horrible when you think of it that way. My thoughts are with her husband, daughter and grandson and all of her friends at this terrible time. She'll be remembered with great affection

Technically, in "Misfits", it's four British and one Irish offender. Not to be nitpicky or anything!

Everywhere in the world is abroad to someone.

I was hoping the series finale of "Angel" would make the list myself.
